Hacienda el Dorado is situated in the heart of one of the leading artisanal mezcal plantations and distilleries in Tamaulipas. 9,000 acres of exotics, wildlife and agave surround the Hacienda, quail are often seen in the compound. The palapas allow one to sit in leather couches while watching quail or other wildlife that are often very close to the hacienda. 

We can sleep up to 20 guests spread out through out the main complex. 

The Main House:

Sleeps 6 in private rooms, 12 total with double occupancy. A pool table, fully stocked bar, entertainment center with TV and WIFI all at the guest's disposal. Each room is decorated in a contemporary fashion with a local flavor that catches the eye and is equipped with its own full bath, heat, and air-conditioning. 

Casitas: 

A short distance from the main house are two casitas, containing two rooms each. Both equipped with a full bath, and king size bed. There is room for 4 guests to stay in private rooms. Just a short walk from the main house with views of one of the pools, the garden, and palapas. 

Safari Tents:

More than just a tent they are fully equipped with a shower, heat, and AC; double or single occupancy available. The Safari Tents are very refined, with all the comforts one would expect at a modern hunting lodge. 

Amenities:

More than just a hunting lodge, we strive to be a place for our guest to relax and let the pressures of the world wash away. Amenities include: a TV, pool table, fully stocked bar, two swimming pools and a hot tub. Numerous hammocks scattered around the compound give our guests a chance to enjoy nature while you siesta after a morning hunt. Our outdoor bar and palapas are a favorite gathering area where drinks are served and stories told.
